Kenneth Pollack: "I was captured by wrong information regarding the relation between Iranian government and people and now I feel sinful."

English Radio: "CIA Analyst:” The Idea of Regime Change in Iran is Foolish”
A CIA analyst termed as foolish the idea of regime change in Iran and taking steps in this path. Kenneth Pollack, Director of research at Brooking’s Saban center for Middle-East policy and a former CIA analyst in an interview with the daily, New York times said: ”I am very pessimistic to US capabilities for encouraging Iranian people to make fundamental changes in their country and basically materialize the US-favored objectives and interests. Pollack, who was earlier known for his invasive views towards Iran, clearly regretted his past behaviors and said: "I was captured by wrong information regarding the relation between Iranian government and people and now I feel sinful. " The Author of ”The Persian Puzzle, the Conflict between Iran and America” said the political psychoanalysis of Iranians over the past couple of years has indicated that the US is a devil for them and Washington’s efforts in recent years to try to defeat their resistance have practically failed."
