Berlin, July 8, IRNA -- The German water industry anticipates 700 million euro in additional orders from Iran to build that country's water infrastructure, German Education and Research Minister Edelgard Bulmahn said Wednesday evening in Berlin following a meeting with top banking and water industry officials.
Iran and Germany had already signed in January a water cooperation deal worth 100 million euro which was backed by export credit guarantees from the German state development bank Kreditanstalt fuer Wiederaufbau. "

Iran"s tourism industry development requires a turnaround towards a positive attitude for issuing visas for foreign tourists, announced a senior Foreign Ministry official, adding that tourists are not spies.
"The first step to develop the industry is to facilitate the issuance of visas," said Dr. Hadi, deputy of consular and legal affairs in the Iranian Foreign Ministry. "Tourists need security and his security should not be shattered by such strict attitudes."

The feasibility study on the 240-km Astara-Salyan road, which is part of the Baku-Astara highway, will be prepared shortly.
