TEHRAN, July 13 (Xinhuanet) -- A newly approved bill of the Iranian cabinet has outlawed selling of tobacco products to youths under 18 years old or involving them into the selling procedure, the official IRNA news agency reported Tuesday.
The bill was announced by cabinet spokesman Abdullah Ramezan-Zadeh who also said that another article will ban smoking in all roofed public places, public transportation vehicles and working places, said the report.
Ramezan-Zadeh said a headquarters will be set up to control the use of tobacco products under the supervision of the Health Ministry.
The headquarters is to help planning a campaign against smoking throughout the country, the spokesman concluded. "
