Turkish Foreign Minister Sends Condolence Message To Iran After Earthquake - Turkish Daily News from Turkey: "Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul sent on Monday a condolence message to Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi after an earthquake rocked Iran.
In his message, Gul expressed deep sorrow over death and injury of many people and financial damages caused by the earthquake which jolted Tehran and Mazandaran.
Gul implored God's mercy for the death, offered condolences to the relatives of the dead, and wished quick recovery to the injured.
An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale rocked Iran on Friday. Officials put the death toll at 35, but did not expect the toll to rise. "
